ROBOT
 ANOTHER concentration piece. before you all go shouting out "ITS THE IRON GIANT!" (especially those of you who know how much I love that movie) I should say that if I was inspired by anything, it was definately Miyazaki's "Castle in the Sky". The Laputa robots with all the moss on them, you know. I thought that was just so cool  wasn't even thinking of the IG untill someone thought it was him. haha. everytime I see this now, I think of that movie Cadet Kelley because it ws playing while I finished the coloring. anyone remember that movie? Back from the day when Disney had good made-for-television movies...like the "Thirteenth Year" and that Boogiman one that made me afraid of the space beneath my bed for like three years. </tangent> markers and oil paints. sorry about the perspective. I was going for something different and got lost. |

Honestly, it's just a super generic design. You could say it's Brian Despain, Iron Giant, or Castle in the sky if you wanted too. I think people just immediately think it's the IG because he's the most notable robot to utilize these stereotypical robot characteristics
